Recovering a failing €10M global ERP programme in five months

Brought in by the CIO to recover a failing global CRM and ERP programme across three continents, then delivered it end to end, from requirements to hypercare, in five months.

Challenge

A €10M global ERP transformation spanning three continents had stalled. Executive confidence had gone, finance scope was unclear, and the migration of core finance from Oracle ERP to Dynamics 365 Business Central was failing, including the finance data migration. Separation deadlines were fixed.

What I did

  • Reset the programme: restored executive trust, redefined finance scope across AP, AR, GL, O2C, FA and R2R, and re-established governance.
  • Led finance operating model design with the finance team, translating current-state Oracle processes into Business Central target-state design across every process tower.
  • Defined the future-state people operating model, identified which roles would change and planned the transition for impacted teams.
  • Managed LTM and Gestinov as systems integrators from requirements through to hypercare.
  • Delivered US and French localisations across CRM and finance.
